Sage Pork Chop


1.5 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Bourbon Whiskey
4 TBSP Honey
3 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
1 TBSP Black Pepper
1 TBSP Smoked Paprika
1 TBSP Finely Minced Garlic
1 TBSP Onion Powder
1 TSP Liquid Smoke
1/2 TSP Cumin


1 TSP Cayenne Pepper or Red Pepper Flakes


  • Combine all ingredients into medium saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool to room temperature before storing in a airtight container.


  • Will keep in fridge upto 10 days, probably longer, but it’s never lasted me that long.
  • Suggested applications include: Chicken, pulled pork, hamburgers, or my favorite sliced brisket.
