I am not a religious man, in fact I’d go so far as to say I’m pretty close to an atheist.  That being said though, there are some songs you can not deny the power of.  I don’t know if this song is “religious” in nature or not, but it’s such a powerful and emotional melody that I couldn’t help but add it to my list of covers.  My version is not as slow or full, but I think I captured the beauty and emotion of it.  Hope you enjoy.
It doesn’t matter which you heard
The holy or the broken hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I did my best, it wasn’t much
I couldn’t feel, so I tried to touch
I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I’ll stand before the lord of song
With nothing on my tongue but hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
